Mooresville Unified Development Ordinance, Mooresville, IN

The Town of Mooresville chose GRW to develop a new Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) that combined their zoning ordinance requirements and their subdivision control ordinance regulations into a single, easy-to-use document for administering land use and development. The new UDO brings the current regulations into compliance with current state statutes, as well as incorporated best practices into the process. GRW worked closely with the Town Council and their appointed Steering Committee to develop the new regulations and standards for administration. The document is in a software and format that allows staff to easily maintain the document in the future.
