The Laurels Extended Care Facility Addition, Harlan, KYLocated in Harlan, KY, The Laurels provides extended-stay nursing care to seniors with varying levels of disabilities. Components of this 32-bed addition included:
- Patient care rooms
- Common recreational rooms
- Nurses stations
- Support spaces
GRW also provided design plans for minor renovations of the existing building, which was fully occupied during construction. Connections between the addition and the existing building were constructed in a manner to minimize disruption of facility operations.
