As part of a $120-million renovation project at UK's Kroger Field, GRW designed a synthetic turf playing field that improves versatility for both practice and competition. GRW designed the field to be placed over the existing field drainage system.
Our land development professionals have been part of design-build team sled by Vescio's SportsFields for other UK football fields including the Nutter Training Training Facility football practice fields. The Nutter project included a new synthetic rubber in-fill field and two new sand-based turf fields. All three fields have subdrainage systems to allow for play under almost any conditions. GRW also designed the field lighting and other electrical/communication improvements, as well as completing the feasibility study for the project.
