Construction at the site of the new Versailles Wastewater Treatment Plant in Versailles, KY, kicked off earlier this summer. The City is posting videos of drone flights on a YouTube site set up for the project. Take an a look at the construction progress from back in July.
Several more drone flights are anticipated and will be updated online – about every 6 months – throughout construction.
GRW designed the new conversion and expansion of the plant from a 3.0 MGD extended aeration oxidation ditch plant to a 4.5 MGD sequencing batch reactor (SBR) facility with a peak daily flow of 12.5 MGD. The project consists of preliminary treatment, wet weather flow storage, biological treatment, disinfection and sludge management facilities.
