An article in The State Journal, Frankfort, KY's, local news source, provided a preview of the new consolidated administration and customer service building for the Frankfort Plant Board.
The three-level building, designed by GRW, consolidates all departments -- ranging from dispatch and information technology to human resources and finance departments -- into one facility. Read more about the project.
According to The State Journal article and a news item from the FPB website, the new building and its program include features such as:
- Drive-thru service
- Front door parking
- Drop box for payments at the front
- Private customer service stations
- Community room available for public use
If you're riding the bus, you can access the new building -- open from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. -- using the South Route bus, which stops at the FPB every hour on the hour, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
A main goal is increasing convenience for customers and making it easier for FPB departments to interact. The Plant Board previously served the community from multiple locations in Frankfort for several decades.
GRW thanks The State Journal for its article and congratulates the Frankfort Plant Board on its new home.
