Rob Hench, one of GRW's longest serving employees, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of GRW Aerial Surveys.
After earning his Bachelor's degree in computer science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, he started his career at GRW in 1985. He’s been a GRW employee for more than 32 years.
Rob is a GISP or geographic information system professional, maintaining the standards established by the GIS Certification Institute (GISCI). Throughout his career, Rob has specialized in all areas of GIS database design and development. As a project manager and advisor, he been involved with numerous complex GIS projects for utility companies, cities, counties, state, and federal clients.
From aerial photography and orthoimagery to GIS design and data conversion, GRW's team of certified photogrammetrists, certified GIS professionals, and licensed surveyors regularly provide services such as airport obstruction analysis, monumentation and GPS surveying, height modernization, LiDAR (aerial, mobile terrestrial, stationary terrestrial).
Based in GRW's Lexington office, GRW Aerial Surveys is a wholly owned subsidiary of GRW.
