GRW is pleased to welcome David Humlong, AIA, LEED AP, to GRW's Lexington office. He joins the firm's architectural design division. A bachelor of architecture graduate of the University of Kentucky, David has more than 29 years of experience involving all phases of design and construction administration. Many of his projects have focused on healthcare and have involved work for clients such as UK Healthcare, King's Daughters Medical Center, Bluefield Regional Medical Center, Bluefield, WV; Saint Clair Medical Center, Morehead, KY; Central Baptist Hospital (now Baptist Health), Lexington, KY; Appalachian Regional Hospital, the VA Medical Center, Lexington, KY, and others.
David also has experience as a mentor with the ACE Mentor Program, Louisville Chapter, and was a speaker at the 2012 Healthcare Design Conference, one of the industry's best attended and most respected conferences. He has been an adjunct professor at Spencerian College, teaching courses in commercial codes and estimating, fundamentals of construction, systems and materials, project development, and Architectural Desktop.
