GRW provided design and construction services for a glass-lined, ground-level water storage tank (1.5 MG) --with an additive alternate for a second. The tank operates in the area that includes Settler’s Point. Known as the Conestoga Tank, the tank was built to supplement the existing Cedar Grove tanks in the newly formed 690 pressure plane system. Other project elements included:
- Construction of a public road from Preston Highway (to the north) to the tank access drive
- Drainage improvements
- Installation of a 16” water main extension from Settler’s Point to Coral Ridge, replacing the existing 8” AC (Asbestos Cement) water main.
