GRW engineered a membrane filtration water treatment plant for the Bon De Croft Utility District in the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee. Membrane filtration is a cutting-edge technology that can be utilized to remove minute particles from water. The Bon De Croft water source is of high enough quality that direct filtration was possible. The membrane filtration treatment process eliminated the need to have separate basins for flocculation, sedimentation and conventional filtration. Bon De Croft's expanded 1.0 MGD plant replaced an existing conventional package water treatment plant.
